\u00a0<\/strong>Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah, Minister of Municipality, inaugurated the Cityscape Qatar 2025<\/strong> At the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), amidst a large official and investor presence, three days of events highlighting the future of the real estate sector in Qatar and the region are set to kick off.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now in its 13th edition, the exhibition is a leading platform that brings together investors, developers and decision-makers. The first day witnessed a large turnout of visitors and recorded a 41 percent jump in real estate sales, reflecting the growing confidence in the Qatari real estate market.<\/p>\n

The exhibition coincides with the third edition of the Qatar Real Estate Forum, organized by the Real Estate Regulatory Authority - Aqarat, under the theme \u201cShaping the Future of Real Estate\u201d, where participants discussed regulatory policies, technological innovation, and new investment paths in line with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.<\/p>\n

Real Estate Roadmap<\/span><\/h4>\n

His Excellency Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah, Minister of Municipality, stressed during the \u201cReal Estate Roadmap Towards Achieving Vision 2030\u201d session at the third Qatar Real Estate Forum that the launch of the National Strategy for Real Estate Regulation in September 2024 was a pivotal step towards building a sustainable investment environment, noting that a new regulatory framework was adopted, 19 real estate developers were licensed, and specialized training programs were developed in cooperation with local and international universities. He explained that these efforts resulted in a record 41 percent increase in real estate sales during the first half of 2025, which reflects investor confidence and confirms the robustness of the Qatari market.<\/p>\n

He also testified Forum<\/a> <\/strong>His Excellency Eng. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipalities and Housing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and CEO of the General Authority of Real Estate in Saudi Arabia, emphasized that the Gulf region is witnessing a qualitative shift in the development of cities and communities, stressing that the real estate sector is no longer limited to building housing, but has become focused on creating smart, integrated and sustainable cities that enhance the quality of life.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Throughout the day, the forum covered a number of topics, including smart infrastructure and technological advances in the construction sector, as well as the \u201cLessons from Creating a Luxury Destination\u201d session, which highlighted Qatar's efforts in attracting global capital and offering luxury and sustainable development models.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Identity and Urban Heritage<\/span><\/h4>\n

Nasser Hassan Faraj Al Ansari, Chairman of Just Real Estate, said: \u201cUnder the ambitious leadership of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir, we have built a city that reflects our heritage and identity. Preparing a city isn't just about building roads, it's like a tapestry. Since 2022, the tourism sector has seen significant growth, with between 1.4 and 1.5 million tourists visiting the country this year alone, reinforcing the role of real estate in the country's growth.\u201d.<\/p>\n

The first day saw panel discussions on the future of construction, smart infrastructure, and technological advancements, as well as the \u201cLessons from Creating Luxury Destinations\u201d session, which highlighted Qatar's efforts in attracting global capital and providing sustainable luxury development models.<\/p>\n

The first day concluded with the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Qatar Deyaar and the National Housing Company of Saudi Arabia \u201cNHC\u201d<\/strong>in a move that strengthens GCC real estate cooperation and opens new horizons for joint investment.<\/p>\n

As the second day of the exhibition kicks off, events and talks continue, with more deals expected to be made and new opportunities explored in the real estate sector, in an agenda that combines vision, innovation and investment.<\/p>\n
