The Council of Ministers, chaired by Prince Mohammed bin Salman<\/a> The Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may Allah protect him, has implemented the Ministry of Interior's provisions related to the investment of municipal real estate in accordance with the Real Estate Disposal Regulation.<\/p>\n

The decision includes Real estate<\/a> that have deeds in favor of the ministry, which are located within housing, training cities, or those allocated for health, educational, or residential facilities or for clubs.<\/p>\n

Cabinet Decisions<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Board also approved on Tuesday the appointment of Dr. Faisal bin Hamad Al Saqeer as a member of the Board of Directors of General Ports Authority<\/a>In addition to renewing the membership of Engineer Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Faqih and Dr. Abdulrahman bin Yousef Alali on the same board.<\/p>\n

In an important step in the education sector, the council announced the approval of the establishment of a branch of Strathclyde University in Riyadh, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).<\/p>\n

The Cabinet also approved the final accounts of a number of government bodies and projects, including the Asir Region Development Authority, the King Salman International Center for Arabic Language, and the National Program for the Development of the Information Technology Sector.<\/p>\n

Commenting on this, Minister of Information Mr. Salman bin Yousef Al Dosari explained that the Council discussed the plans of a number of government agencies, especially those related to development projects and initiatives that aim to improve the quality of services and enhance the efficiency of performance, thus contributing to achieving sustainable development and a bright future.<\/p>\n

King Salman Gate Project\u201c<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Council also appreciated the launch of the King Salman Gate project, which represents a major step towards developing the infrastructure of the central area of Makkah, to be a global model in urbanization and improve the services of the Grand Mosque, in line with the objectives of the program to serve the pilgrims.<\/p>\n

The Council praised the efforts made to enhance the housing supply in the Kingdom and achieve a real estate balance between supply and demand, in order to support the construction and development movement and provide various housing options for citizens, in addition to attracting investors and real estate companies to the Saudi market.<\/p>\n
