His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah and Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee, directed to unify efforts and work as one team during the study and implementation of projects so that the work can be completed as soon as possible, this came during his meeting with the members of the Supreme Supervisory Committee for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Expansion Projects in Jeddah yesterday.<\/p>\n
The Emir of Makkah emphasized the need for projects in the holy capital to have an Arabic, Islamic and Meccan identity.
\nHis Highness was briefed on the presentation made by the head of the technical committee supervising the project, Dr. Faisal Wafa, on the projects of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to expand the Grand Mosque and the Matif, the stages achieved and the achievements made so far, in addition to the tasks assigned to the technical committee to follow up the field work and implementation of these important projects to serve the pilgrims of the Sacred Mosque. He pointed out that the project has increased the capacity of the Matif, as it is currently entering its third year, while work is currently underway in the southern area of the project, which extends from King Fahd Expansion to Safa Dome, with a total area of 81,567 square meters, indicating that work is proceeding in full swing and around the clock to complete the finishing works for the works carried out in the past two years, and the final works of the level of the nave and the ground and first floors of the project and prepare them for worshipers and pilgrims early Ramadan this year, as well as completing the second floor of the project to benefit from it in this year's Hajj season, he said.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
