\n The Ministry of Commerce and Industry revealed that the number of productive factories by the end of the first quarter of the current year 1435 AH (6599), with total financing exceeding 948.3 billion riyals, while the number of workers in factories amounted to 862,717 workers.
\nThe Ministry of Commerce and Industry explained in a recent statistical report published on its website that the Riyadh region topped the list of the number of productive factories in the Kingdom with a total of (2896) factories whose financing amounted to (110.4) billion riyals, followed by the Eastern Province with (1546) productive factories with a total financing of (595.5) billion riyals, then the Mecca region with (1225) productive factories with a total financing of (119.9) billion riyals.
\n The rest of the factories were distributed to the rest of the Kingdom's regions, with Al-Baha region having the lowest share in terms of the number of factories with about (15) productive factories with total funding amounting to (59 million riyals).
\n The statistic showed that the factories of other non-metallic mineral products topped the number of factories produced by industrial activities at the end of the first quarter of the current Hijri year 1435 AH, with 1325 factories, followed by factories of formed metal products except machinery and equipment with about (902) factories, then factories of rubber and plastics products with about (819) productive factories.
\nThe number of the remaining factories was distributed among the rest of the productive activities, and the repair and installation of machinery and equipment factories came as the lowest number of factories in the Kingdom with about (5) productive factories.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
