\n During the inauguration of the first American paint factory in the industrial city south of Jeddah, His Excellency the Minister emphasized that all permit procedures and ministry transactions are now completed within two weeks, whereas they used to take six months. He noted that his ministry is working to develop Saudi non-oil exports, and among these steps is participation in international exhibitions. and that this year, Saudi Arabia will participate in 14 international exhibitions, providing support and assistance to any local Saudi company wishing to participate in these events.
\nThe Minister of Commerce and Industry noted that the annual growth rate of Saudi non-oil products has increased by 12 percent compared to the annual rate in previous years, He emphasized that this annual growth rate is exceptional and that he aims to maintain it at this level or double it in the coming years. He also expressed his hope for greater development of the Kingdom\u2019s industrial sector, for it to rise to the level of global industrial standards, and for it to serve as an additional means of diversifying the Kingdom\u2019s sources of income.
\nIt should be noted that the number of commercial registrations recorded at commercial registry offices nationwide reached 49,448, while the number of commercial registrations for women entrepreneurs at commercial registry offices nationwide reached 6,897. The Ministry did not record any figures for licenses issued to independent professional practices registered at its branches nationwide, while the number of trademarks registered at its branches nationwide reached 3,214.
\nDespite the relative newness of the industrial sector in the Kingdom, it has experienced steady growth, during which it has achieved remarkable accomplishments; This is due to the attention and support the sector receives from the government, given the role it plays in achieving the Kingdom\u2019s strategic and economic goals.
