\nThe net profits of the Kingdom Holding Company, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for the nine months ended September 30, 2013, amounted to SAR 511 million, compared to SAR 497 million for the same period in 2012. The net profit for the third quarter was SAR 220 million, compared to SAR 218 million for the same period last year. The total profit for the third quarter was SAR 366 million, compared to SAR 285 million for the same period last year, an increase of 28.4%.
\nFor his part, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal commented: \u201cThe direct investment portfolio, estimated at more than 10 billion US dollars, domestically and globally, generates strong returns that will contribute to increasing the return on capital.\u201d.
