The Medina region achieved a remarkable performance in Hospitality sector<\/a><\/strong> During the first quarter of the current year 2025, hotels recorded a high occupancy rate of (82.7%) to lead the Kingdom's regions for the second consecutive quarter, after topping it in the fourth quarter of 2024, reflecting its status as a major destination that attracts visitors throughout the year.<\/p>\n

Serviced apartments and other hospitality facilities in Medina recorded an occupancy rate of (59.6%) by the end of the first quarter of 2025, achieving the second highest rate in the Kingdom after Riyadh, which recorded an occupancy rate of (71.5%), reflecting the continued growth and increased demand for accommodation services in the Medina region, supported by the increase in the number of visitors and the increase in the average length of stay, which confirms the region's ability to compete in the national tourism market.<\/p>\n

Throughout the year, Medina receives large numbers of visitors from inside and outside the Kingdom, as the Hajj season is the peak demand for the services and facilities of the hotel sector, luxury hospitality, and serviced apartments, and the sector continues its activity for the rest of the year with the continued arrival of pilgrims and visitors to Medina, reflecting the role of the hospitality and accommodation sector in the growth of economic activities in Medina, which is witnessing an accelerated pace of work to establish promising investment projects in the hotel sector in the central area surrounding the Prophet's Mosque and along the main roads, most notably Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Salman Road, the most prominent of which is the hotel sector.<\/p>\n
