{"id":88401,"date":"2025-11-19T13:00:26","date_gmt":"2025-11-19T10:00:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/?p=88401"},"modified":"2025-11-19T13:00:26","modified_gmt":"2025-11-19T10:00:26","slug":"%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%aa%d8%a8%d8%a7%d8%af%d9%84-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%aa%d8%ac%d8%a7%d8%b1%d9%8a-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b3%d8%b9%d9%88%d8%af%d9%8a-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%a3%d9%85%d8%b1%d9%8a%d9%83%d9%8a-%d9%8a%d8%aa%d8%ac","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/88401\/","title":{"rendered":"Saudi-U.S. trade exceeds $500 billion and sees sustained growth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Trade between Saudi Arabia and the United States over the past decade has exceeded $500 billion, making the U.S. the kingdom's second-largest trading partner for imports.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Saudi-U.S. Trade Exchange<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>This exchange has witnessed remarkable growth since 2020, with the growth rate exceeding 50%, reflecting the strength of the economic relationship between the two countries and the strategic partnerships that enhance competitiveness and contribute to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/77963\/\">Attracting investments<\/a><\/strong> qualitatively.<\/p>\n<p>The volume of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stats.gov.sa\/w\/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D8%A8%D8%A7%D8%AF%D9%84-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D8%AC%D8%A7%D8%B1%D9%8A-%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AD%D8%A9-%D8%B9%D8%A7%D9%85%D8%A9-\">Trade exchange<\/a><\/strong> In 2024, about $33 billion, where fertilizers and organic chemical products were the most prominent Saudi exported goods, while boilers, machinery and machine tools, along with cars and their parts, topped the list of imported US goods worth $9 billion, and until the first half of 2025, the trade exchange recorded about $16 billion, according to preliminary data.<\/p>\n<p>The Saudi-U.S. Trade and Investment Council (TIFA) works to strengthen trade relations between the two countries by pursuing trade and investment cooperation, identifying opportunities for expansion, and removing barriers to trade flow.<\/p>\n<p>The council includes 11 Saudi government entities, and has contributed to agreeing on 27 initiatives covering several vital areas such as artificial intelligence and standards and metrology, enhancing the business and investment environment between the two countries.<\/p>\n<p>The General Authority for Foreign Trade plays a pivotal role in developing these trade relations, through joint committees that aim to facilitate the access of Saudi non-oil exports to global markets and overcome the challenges they face.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"span-reading-time rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">Reading time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\"> &lt;
