witnessed Entertainment sector<\/a> In the third quarter of 2025, the Kingdom will see increased activity and an expansion in the volume of events and licenses, according to a report General Entertainment Authority<\/a><\/strong> (GEA), which showed 12.6 million visitors and continued growth in various organizational and regulatory indicators.<\/p>\n

Entertainment Events in Saudi Arabia<\/span><\/h4>\n

The number of entertainment events amounted to 468 events held in 116 cities across the Kingdom, reflecting the breadth of activities and the inclusion of various regions of the Kingdom, and the number of companies operating in the sector increased to 6,499 companies, indicating the increase in investment opportunities and the continued development of the entertainment sector in the Kingdom.<\/p>\n

On the regulatory side, the authority issued 1,839 licenses during the third quarter, an increase of 48.9% compared to the same quarter last year, covering various types of entertainment activities, live shows, entertainment centers, and artistic talents.<\/p>\n

The number of monitoring visits amounted to more than 24,200, an increase of nearly 4%, reflecting continued monitoring efforts to ensure that recreational activities comply with the approved regulations and standards.<\/p>\n

The report showed that the compliance rate of authorized entertainment activities reached 93%, an indicator that reflects the improved level and quality of entertainment experiences, and the high efficiency of supervision and follow-up.<\/p>\n

The visitor satisfaction index rose to 94% compared to 89% in the previous year, achieving a growth of 5%. To ensure professional quality entertainment activities, the Authority evaluated more than 203 entertainment events, 672 entertainment centers, and 13 entertainment cities in the entertainment sector, as part of its programs to classify entertainment activities and investors.<\/p>\n

The General Entertainment Authority emphasizes that its regulatory and supervisory efforts contribute to enhancing the quality of entertainment activities and enabling investors to develop distinctive and safe experiences that meet the aspirations of society and meet the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in building a prosperous and sustainable entertainment sector.<\/p>\n
