Investors from Saudi Arabia traded in the markets of External stocks<\/a>During the third quarter of 2025, buying and selling transactions jumped by 140.7% year-on-year to reach SAR 218.76 billion, compared to SAR 90.88 billion in the same period last year.<\/p>\n

Saudi Arabia's trading in foreign markets<\/span><\/h4>\n

According to data from the Capital Market Authority, US markets accounted for the largest share of the total trading of Saudis abroad with 98.78% during the third quarter of this year.<\/p>\n

Saudi trades in US markets achieved the highest quarterly level in its history, after rising by 141% to reach 216.08 billion riyals, compared to 89.66 billion riyals in the corresponding quarter of 2024.<\/p>\n

European markets came second in terms of the volume of foreign trades of Saudis with a value of 1.628 billion riyals in the third quarter of 2025, compared to 218 million riyals a year ago, registering a growth of 647%.<\/p>\n

In contrast, the value of trades in Arab markets amounted to SAR 67 million, down slightly from SAR 70 million in the third quarter of last year.<\/p>\n

Trading in GCC markets declined to SAR 685 million, down 15.7% year-on-year, while trading in Asian markets rose to SAR 160 million, achieving a growth of 247.8%.<\/p>\n

Despite this external activity, the local market still accounts for the largest share of trades with 75% and worth 656.138 billion riyals of the total trades of all markets amounting to 874.899 billion riyals during the third quarter of this year, while trades in the US markets accounted for 24.7% of the total.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
