Organized Ministry of Investment<\/a>In cooperation with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Italian Trade Agency, the Saudi-Italian Investment and Business Forum was held in Riyadh, with the participation of more than 1,500 participants and more than 600 Italian companies.<\/p>\n

The forum was attended by HE Minister of Investment Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih and Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani, in a natural extension of a series of high-level bilateral meetings between the two countries, the most recent of which was hosted by AlUla Governorate.<\/p>\n

The forum addressed the most prominent areas of economic cooperation between the Kingdom and Italy, reviewing promising investment opportunities in sectors related to the Kingdom's Vision 2030, in addition to the major economic developments witnessed by the Kingdom in terms of mega projects and advanced infrastructure, and the opportunities they provide for companies from both sides.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by a large number of officials, investors and private sector representatives from the two countries, where they discussed ways to strengthen economic partnerships, develop trade ties, and exchange experiences to support sustainable growth paths.<\/p>\n

During the forum, 22 new investment agreements were signed between Saudi and Italian entities, covering the sectors of communications and information technology, import and export, tourism, healthcare, agriculture, water, culture, and sports.<\/p>\n

The forum emphasizes the strength of the economic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Italian Republic, and the desire of the two countries to expand the horizons of strategic cooperation and support investment partnerships in line with the objectives of Vision 2030.<\/p>\n

Italian investments in the Kingdom recorded a growth of 15% during 2024, reaching SAR 6.3 billion, and the number of licenses granted to Italian companies increased by 91% in the same year, especially in the sectors of infrastructure, energy, healthcare, transportation, digital technologies and advanced industries.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
