The CEO of NHC<\/a><\/strong>Mr. Muhammad bin Saleh al-Buti<\/a><\/strong>has been named one of Forbes' 100 Most Powerful CEOs in the Middle East for 2025, making him the first Saudi CEO of a real estate development company to be included in this list. The selection reflects his transformational role in positioning the company as the largest real estate developer in the region, with a business model that focuses on innovation, thoughtful expansion, and enhancing the national impact of the urban development sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
\nSince taking the helm, Al-Batti has led NHC into a new phase of growth, reshaping the housing and urban development landscape through 25 integrated urban destinations that offer a more competitive lifestyle and adopt large-scale development models in 17 cities across the Kingdom. These transformations have set the company on an upward trajectory, with ambitious targets that include providing 300,000 housing units by 2025 and expanding to 600,000 units by 2030, to contribute to raising the ownership rate to 70%, strengthening its presence in the fastest growing market in the region.
\nLast week, NHC established its leadership presence at Cityscape Global 2025 by launching a range of quality projects in its urban destinations and signing strategic agreements with local and international partners to support the company's future expansion. The company also recorded an exceptional volume of residential and investment transactions during the exhibition period, a clear indication of the strength of demand and investor confidence in the company's projects and directions.
\nThis momentum is consistent with NHC's exceptional performance over the past two years, as its sales in 2024 reached SAR 26.7 billion, accounting for 62% of off-plan sales and 30% of real estate financing, confirming its leading position in the sector. In 2025, the company continued its pace of growth by pumping 134,000 housing units and launching six major projects with a total investment of more than 37 billion riyals.
\nNHC also strengthened its role in developing community infrastructure through agreements with Tatweer Education Holding Company to implement 166 schools, in addition to sustainability initiatives that included planting more than 800,000 trees as part of the \u201cGreen Saudi\u201d project. In terms of empowering national talent, the Wa'ed program continued to grow with 150 graduates and 500 new trainees in 2025, which was reflected in the company receiving the National Award for Volunteerism 2024 and the Social Responsibility Award in the housing sector.
\nThe company's expected economic contribution to the non-oil GDP in 2025 is estimated at SAR 53 billion, in addition to enabling more than 381,000 direct and indirect jobs across the Kingdom. The company also continued its efforts to create economic and professional opportunities that contribute to the development of national competencies. The company strengthened its international presence through partnerships and foreign investments exceeding SAR 40 billion with leading international companies, reflecting the attractiveness of the Saudi market and the reliability of NHC's development models.
\nOn the digital transformation side, Al-Batti led the achievements of the company's technology arm, NHC Innovation, which manages 13 digital platforms serving more than 35 million users, emphasizing that AI has become part of city planning, community management, and customer experience.
