that have contributed to increasing the ownership rate of Saudi families and expanding available housing options, according to official data released by the Housing Program and the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Thousands of families enter the ownership process<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The housing programs recorded the benefit of more than 122,000 families during 2024, including more than 21,000 families who actually managed to own their homes through the direct allocation and residential development tracks.<br \/>\nThe Ministry of Municipalities and Housing announced that more than 54,000 families will benefit from financing and housing products during the first half of 2025, continuing the pace of growth and further expansion of support options.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Rising ownership and exceeding 2025 targets<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The ownership rate of Saudi households reached 65.4% by the end of 2024, exceeding the 2025 target of 65%, which reflects the effectiveness of subsidized financing programs and the diversity of housing products offered, as confirmed by the housing program, as this jump is a direct indicator of improved access to housing, and new families benefit from easy financing and regulatory options.<\/p>\n<p>During the first half of 2025, the ministry offered about 26,000 units within the framework of increasing the supply, through the off-plan sales mechanism, which includes various projects in major cities and new residential suburbs, which contributes to providing options that suit the needs of families and their financial capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>According to Sakani's data, integrated housing projects that combine infrastructure and basic services will continue to be launched, making it easier for families to move to them once they are completed.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Direct impact on the real estate sector and market stability<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The expansion of the beneficiary base and the increase in ownership contribute to supporting the real estate sector by promoting sustainable demand for ready-made units and developing new housing projects, while supporting associated activities such as contracting, infrastructure and municipal services, and increasing the supply through off-plan sales projects is an important element in reducing the supply-demand gap and balancing prices.<br \/>\nFuture prospects<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing stressed that the next phase will witness the continued expansion of integrated housing projects, the expansion of subsidized financing products, and the development of suburbs, in order to enhance the quality of life and raise the ownership rate towards further targets within the Kingdom's Vision 2030, as the concerned authorities work to improve the beneficiary experience by expanding digital
