Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqeel, Minister of Municipalities and Housing, paid an important visit to the Swiss Confederation, where he met with Gilbert F. Houngbo, Director-General of the International Labor Organization, at the organization's headquarters in Geneva, to discuss means of cooperation and review the Kingdom's experience in improving the work environment.<\/p>\n

The statements of Minister of Municipalities and Housing<\/a>During the visit, he expressed the magnitude of the Kingdom's efforts to develop the labor environment and improve the quality of life for all citizens in Saudi Arabia, stressing the Kingdom's commitment to establishing the principle of social justice and implementing all labor rights.<\/p>\n

The minister also reviewed the Kingdom's efforts to improve the standard of housing to be in line with the highest quality standards, which is reflected in raising the quality of life for residents inside Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

The Minister of Municipalities and Housing expected the number of workers in the Kingdom to increase, especially in light of Saudi Arabia's implementation of many major projects in various fields, expressing his aspiration for more cooperation with the International Labor Organization during the coming period, inviting the Director General of the ILO to visit the Kingdom to see the urban and developmental renaissance that Saudi Arabia is implementing through a number of major projects.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
