Financing directed to residential apartments amounted to about 1.522 billion riyals, compared to 1.826 billion riyals in September. While financing for residential land amounted to about 357 million riyals, up from 303 million riyals recorded in September 2025.<\/p>\n<p>On a year-on-year basis, total new residential mortgage financing for individuals recorded a sharp decline of 31.8%, reaching SAR 5.548 billion in October 2025, compared to SAR 8.142 billion in October 2024. The decline included all products, as financing for villas fell from 4.828 billion riyals to 3.668 billion riyals, financing for apartments fell from 2.855 billion riyals to 1.522 billion riyals, and land financing fell from 458 million riyals to 357 million riyals.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>The evolution of residential real estate finance\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Financing for villas fluctuated throughout the year, reaching SAR 6.638 billion in January, falling to SAR 5.573 billion in February and SAR 5.186 billion in March, before falling further to SAR 3.930 billion in April. Funding rose to SR4.992 billion in May, then fell to SR3.259 billion in June, reaching SR4.114 billion in July, SR3.741 billion in August, SR3.692 billion in September, and SR3.668 billion in October.<\/p>\n<p>For apartments, the year started with SR3.351 billion in January, SR2.899 billion in February, and SR2.798 billion in March. Financing fell to SR2.064 billion in April, SR1.850 billion in May, SR1.577 billion in June, SR1.931 billion in July, SR1.762 billion in August, SR1.826 billion in September, and SR1.522 billion in October.<\/p>\n<p>Land financing amounted to SR475 million in January, SR436 million in February, SR415 million in March, SR304 million in April, SR534 million in May, and SR482 million in June.
