Jarrah bin Mohammed Al-Jarrah, the ministry's spokesperson, explained that the field visits carried out during October 2025 included (455) visits to factories in the Eastern Province, (407) visits in the Riyadh region, (288) visits in the Makkah region, (96) visits in the Medina region, (29) in the Asir region, (28) in the Tabuk region, 24 in the Qassim region, 17 in the Jazan region, 6 in the Northern Borders region, 5 in Al-Jouf and Najran regions, 3 in the Hail region and 1 visit in the Al-Baha region.<\/p>\n

Al-Jarrah emphasized that the ministry will continue its field visits to ensure that industrial establishments apply the necessary requirements and requirements for practicing industrial activity, and follow up on the commitment of national factories to provide high-quality products that conform to approved standards and specifications, in addition to correcting the status of factories located outside industrial cities.<\/p>\n

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources requires any facility practicing industrial activity to obtain an industrial license, environmental permit, spatial licenses, and the necessary licenses for safety and operation, to ensure the achievement of safety requirements, as well as obtaining a license from the Saudi Food and Drug Authority before starting production, and obtaining quality conformity certificates for products subject to the technical regulations issued by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO).<\/p>\n
