In this context, the system specifies that the customer is entitled to compensation in the form of \u201clike-for-like rent\u201d if the delivery is delayed after the prescribed deadline of up to one year. The compensation is calculated based on the number of days of delay, and is paid after the delivery of the housing unit, specifying the reason behind the delay.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the new system has undergone recent amendments. The 7% ratio in the previous system has been changed, and the \u201clike-for-like\u201d compensation is now calculated on a daily basis, which ensures that the compensation is calculated more accurately.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the option for customers, the NHC president emphasized the existence of a \u201cloyalty program\u201d that gives customers several options in case of delayed delivery. If the customer wishes to take advantage of this option, they can exchange their unit for a ready-made unit within the same project, and sometimes the new unit may be larger or more expensive than the original unit, without any increase in price.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of financial compensation, Al-Batti explained that customers are also entitled to financial compensation based on a percentage of the like-for-like fare, which is determined flexibly according to the size of the delay, while ensuring that discussions with customers are clear and transparent.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasized that<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rega.gov.sa\/\"> Public Authority for Real Estate<\/a><\/strong> is responsible for assessing the reasons for the delay and determining the appropriate compensation. However, he noted that before handing over the unit, these options are presented to customers so that they are free to make the decision that suits them best.<\/p>\n<p>In conclusion, the NHC president stressed the company's keenness to meet the needs of its customers, noting that about 69% customers have approved the \u201cloyalty\u201d program that provides flexible options for compensation and
