Real Estate Registry spokesperson, Yazeed Al-Yahya, confirmed that registering in Cadastre<\/a><\/strong> He pointed out that there will be no penalties during the first 90 days of the application, in order to give beneficiaries enough opportunity to complete the registration procedures.<\/p>\n

During a media intervention, Al-Yahya explained that the Real Estate Registration Law has made it mandatory to register all properties, indicating that failure to comply with the registration after the expiration of the statutory deadline may result in a fine of up to 100,000 riyals.<\/p>\n

He added that the in-kind registration system includes all types of real estate in all regions of the Kingdom, whether residential, commercial, industrial or agricultural, without exception.<\/p>\n

He explained that the direct responsibility for registering the property lies with whoever holds the deed in his name, whether it is a real estate developer, a financing entity such as banks, or an owner who buys the property.<\/p>\n

Al-Yahya concluded by emphasizing that in-kind registration gives the property absolute authenticity, prevents any future dispute over ownership, is a key pillar in protecting real estate rights, eliminates duplication of real estate and multiple deeds, and enhances the reliability of real estate ownership in the Kingdom.<\/p>\n
