Announced Medina Development Authority<\/a><\/strong> about opening a door Qualifying a number of real estate developers<\/a><\/strong>who have the experience and technical and executive ability, to participate in quality projects aimed at developing the old neighborhoods in Medina.<\/p>\n

This approach comes as part of initiatives to improve the urban landscape and rehabilitate the targeted old neighborhoods, with the aim of preparing a list of qualified developers capable of contributing to future development projects, in line with quality and sustainability standards, and supporting the overall development goals of the region.<\/p>\n

Medina is witnessing the implementation of a number of projects to develop old neighborhoods, most notably the Mughaisleh Neighborhood Development Project, which is a pioneering model for the rehabilitation of old and informal neighborhoods, as part of the Humanizing the City initiative. This initiative aims to transform old residential neighborhoods into human-friendly environments that contribute to a qualitative shift with a sustainable human and urban dimension.<\/p>\n

Al Mughaisleh was chosen as one of the targeted neighborhoods in the humanization initiative, due to its location as an informal neighborhood adjacent to the Prophet's Mosque. The project focuses on upgrading the neighborhood architecturally, environmentally and economically, enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors to the city and enriching the cognitive and cultural experience in the vicinity of the central area.<\/p>\n

The project works to develop a range of investment opportunities and sites within the neighborhood, in addition to launching 8 initiatives to support economic development, aimed at developing the business climate, introducing the neighborhood, and enhancing its status as a tourist and commercial center in Medina.<\/p>\n

The project aims to rehabilitate the neighborhood and link it to the attractions along the road from the Prophet's Mosque to the Seven Mosques area, on a total area estimated at 800,000 square meters. The project includes the establishment of a variety of hotels, residential units, commercial complexes and parks, which will contribute to enhancing well-being and quality of life, and support tourism and economic activities in the area.<\/p>\n
