The Ministry of Housing revealed\u00a0 <\/span>The date of implementation of the White Land Fees System will be (3 Ramadan according to the Umm Al-Qura calendar), with the proceeds of the land fees - after giving a grace period to the specified sites in case of non-development - to be spent on the Ministry of Housing projects, connecting public facilities to them and providing public services in them. The regulatory bylaw of the system, for which a number of workshops were held, will determine the entity responsible for determining the fee, which will be determined later. Also, the value of the fee is related to the value of the land, and the system has set a criterion for determining its value based on its location, uses, building systems, the availability of public services in it and the access of public facilities to it.<\/p>\n

This came during a workshop launched recently in Riyadh by Minister of Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, focusing on a survey of stakeholders and experts regarding the executive regulations for the vacant land tax system. The workshop was attended by a number of ministry officials, interested parties, and specialists in the field. Al-Hogail emphasized the importance of activating partnerships between the Ministry of Housing and relevant experts in the various programs being launched.\u00a0 <\/span>The ministry is launching an online portal that will allow citizens to submit their suggestions and comments on the system, whose final regulations are currently being prepared for its launch. The ministry emphasized that public and relevant stakeholders' participation will result in a comprehensive set of regulations.
