Two agencies predicted \u201cStandard & Poor's Global<\/a><\/strong>\u201d and\u201dKnight Frank<\/a><\/strong>\u201dreal estate consultants, the Commercial real estate<\/a><\/strong> Saudi Arabia is poised for exceptional growth in the coming years, driven by the country's major socio-economic transformations and the growing interest of local and international brands in the Saudi retail market.<\/p>\n

In its latest report, Knight Frank noted that the supply of Commercial real estate<\/a> <\/strong>in Riyadh is set to grow by 50% by 2027, while the Commercial real estate market<\/a><\/strong> in Jeddah expanded by up to 75% during the same period. This growing momentum reflects the growing demand for commercial space from various sectors of the economy.<\/p>\n

S&P said in a recent report that the residential sector is also showing signs of strength, with large numbers of young Saudis moving to major cities in search of job opportunities, boosting demand for housing units.<\/p>\n

The General Authority for Real Estate predicted that the size of the real estate market in the Kingdom will reach about $101.62 billion by 2029, with an expected annual growth rate of 8% starting from 2024, reflecting the robustness of the market and the diversity of investment opportunities within it.<\/p>\n

Knight Frank published an analysis in June highlighting the rapid growth in the commercial sector, noting that average rents for Class A office space in Riyadh reached $719.95 per square meter by the end of the first quarter of this year, an increase of 23% compared to the same period last year, indicating high demand and improved returns on investment in this type of asset.<\/p>\n

Standard & Poor's believes that the Saudi mall sector has strong growth potential, but to achieve this growth, S&P stipulated the need for careful planning and strategic positioning of real estate development projects, which will enable shopping center and mall operators to achieve sustainable success in the long term.<\/p>\n

The development of the real estate sector, both residential and commercial, is one of the strategic objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, as part of its efforts to diversify the economy away from dependence on oil and strengthen Saudi Arabia's position as a global economic and tourism center.<\/p>\n
