Shahbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Rwanda's President Paul Kagame, President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana Mohamed Irfaan Ali, Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania Edi Rama, and FIFA President Gianni Infantino participated in a panel discussion titled \u201cIs humanity moving in the right direction?\u201d at the 9th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan congratulated HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for organizing the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative Conference, praising the conference's global leadership vision that embodies the transformation led by the Kingdom at the economic and developmental levels.<\/p>\n

He explained that Pakistan is continuing to implement radical economic reforms that include the source of revenue, digitizing the tax system, fighting corruption and enhancing spending efficiency, stressing that these steps come within the framework of building a productive economy capable of attracting long-term investments and achieving sustainable development.<\/p>\n

He pointed out that youth represent about (60%) of Pakistan's population, which makes them a key pillar in training, qualification and employment plans to enhance productivity and economic growth, drawing attention to the importance of international cooperation to support developing countries in the fields of technology and green investment, reviewing the challenges facing his country as a result of climate change, explaining that Pakistan is one of the ten countries most affected by natural disasters despite its low carbon emissions to less than (0. 1%), as it was subjected to devastating floods in 2022 that caused losses exceeding (130 billion dollars).1%, as it was hit by devastating floods in 2022 that caused losses exceeding 130 billion dollars, calling for strengthening international cooperation to confront climate impacts and support countries affected by natural disasters through fair partnerships in financing and technology.<\/p>\n

The Pakistani Prime Minister stressed that artificial intelligence is a key pillar in Pakistan's technological transformation, explaining that his country is investing in building human capacity and establishing the necessary data centers to develop AI applications in agriculture and industry, which contributes to raising productivity and achieving economic integration between the North and South.<\/p>\n

For his part, Rwandan President Paul Kagame emphasized that the most important characteristics of the leadership that the world needs today are the ability to accomplish and achieve tangible results that meet the aspirations of the people, stressing that trust between leaders and citizens is not granted, but rather built through actual performance and commitment to what is said and implemented on the ground.<\/p>\n

He explained that true leadership is measured by the extent to which promises are realized and plans are translated into achievements that people feel in their daily lives, noting that the process of building trust depends on a balance between what leaders provide and what citizens experience, so that the achievement is tangible and measurable.<\/p>\n

He pointed out that the Rwandan experience represents a practical model in this field, as the country was able, despite its small geographical size, to build a high national spirit and an open mind equal to the ambitions of major countries, stressing that real change is not related to the size of countries or their resources, but rather the ability of people to assume their responsibility and take the decision to rise again.<\/p>\n

The President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, Mohamed Irfaan Ali, emphasized that investing in human capacity, developing infrastructure, and promoting sustainable economies are key pillars to ensure continued development and global competitiveness, noting that the world is facing multiple challenges related to climate, energy, food, and migration, noting that his country represents a unique model in preserving environmental diversity, as it maintains the highest levels of forest cover and the lowest levels of desertification in the world.<\/p>\n

The President of Guyana pointed out that his country, despite its small size, is experiencing one of the fastest growing economies in the world thanks to recent oil discoveries, which enabled it to launch extensive investment programs in education, technology, artificial intelligence, and digitization to build a competitive economy based on innovation, stressing that the world's small and medium-sized countries are able to make a global impact through resilience, innovation, and investment in people, calling for reorienting development priorities to be more inclusive and equitable among countries.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Edi Rama, explained that culture, creativity and the arts are key elements in inspiring people and driving development, pointing out that the transformation witnessed by the Kingdom embodies the link between beauty and prosperity and is an inspiring model for the world, stressing that the Kingdom has become a living example of the possibility of transforming the desert into a vibrant environment similar in its beauty to major historical cities, and that urban development and attention to the urban landscape reflect an advanced awareness of the importance of beauty in improving the quality of life.<\/p>\n

He emphasized that the world today is witnessing a growing need for inspiration and positive change, and the Saudi experience proves that renaissance is not exclusive to a specific region, but can be launched from any place that has the will and vision to achieve it.<\/p>\n

FIFA President Gianni Infantino said that football has a magical power to bring happiness and joy into people's lives, expressing his happiness with the success of the World Cup in Qatar, noting that football promotes education and peace, and combines core values such as understanding and cooperation.<\/p>\n

He pointed out that football is not just a sport, but a global symbol of communication between societies, bringing together people from different cultures, which contributes to promoting the spirit of unity and understanding between nations, stressing the importance of education through sports, and the role of clubs and schools in teaching positive values to children, such as cooperation and respect, expressing his desire to promote equality and justice in society through football, noting that this sport should be used as a platform to provide equal opportunities for all.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
