Announced Public Authority for Real Estate<\/a><\/strong>The deadline is approaching. For the first real estate registration <\/a><\/strong>for a number of neighborhoods in Riyadh, Qassim, and Sharqiya by the end of Thursday 26 Rajab, 1447 AH, corresponding to January 15, 2026 AD<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Riyadh region<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Registration speed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Authority called on the owners of properties located within the neighborhoods to quickly register their properties through the real estate registry platform rer.sa before the registration period expires in order to benefit from the services of implementing real estate transactions and documenting all changes that occur in the property.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She explained that the Land Registry will issue a \u201cproperty number\u201d and a title deed for each real estate unit that is registered, and the new title deed includes the exact geographical location of the property, its owner's data, descriptions, condition, rights and obligations, and all real estate transactions that occur on it; to be the basis for documenting ownership and the real estate rights resulting from it, which contributes to the sustainability and enhancement of the real estate sector and its key enablers.

Financial penalties<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Authority emphasized that failure to register properties within the period specified in the announcement decision exposes their owners to the financial penalties contained in the Real Estate Registration System, which is determined by a committee specialized in considering violations, and that requests for real estate registration continue in all declared areas even after the expiration of the registration period specified in the announcement decision.
