The capital, Riyadh, witnessed the second day of the International Conference on Asset Management, Facilities and Maintenance<\/strong><\/a> (OMAINTEC 2026, in its 23rd edition, is an intensive professional momentum, within the approved scientific program, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Riyadh Region - may Allah protect him - to confirm the Kingdom's leading role in adopting digital twinning and smart technologies to support Vision 2030 goals in sustainability and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scientific sessions and celebration of winners<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second day of the conference kicked off with scientific sessions, building on the success of the opening day, which saw a number of professional sessions, workshops and panel discussions, in addition to honoring the winners of the Arab Asset, Facilities and Maintenance Management Award, as part of a professional program that focused on discussing issues related to the development of asset, facilities and maintenance management practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the second day, the conference program focused on developing professional competencies, building institutional capacity, enhancing the sustainability of fixed assets, as well as digital transformation and digital twinning applications in infrastructure management, transportation and energy sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sessions also discussed the future of smart facilities and educational facilities, employing artificial intelligence and Internet of Things technologies in operation and maintenance systems, developing smart maintenance models, and building advanced frameworks for asset data management, which contributes to increasing performance efficiency and improving decision-making models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference also touched on asset governance, safety risk management, building information modeling (BIM) integration and its role in supporting maintenance and facilities management decisions, network resilience and security, energy management using smart solutions, and linking environmental sustainability and circular economy concepts to asset and facilities management practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
