The number of participants in public investment funds also rose to 1,593,663, marking a year-over-year growth of 1.5% and an increase of more than 23,000 participants compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This growth was driven primarily by an increase in domestic investment assets, which jumped by 39% year-over-year\u2014an increase of 52.4 billion riyals\u2014bringing their total to approximately 186.9 billion riyals, accounting for 86% of the total asset value. In contrast, foreign investment assets recorded annual growth of 21.1%, an increase of more than 5 billion riyals, reaching 31.1 billion riyals, representing approximately 14.3% of total assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In terms of the number of funds, the total number of public investment funds rose to 346 by the end of the third quarter of 2025, representing year-over-year growth of 11.6%\u2014an increase of 36 funds compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The assets of public investment funds were distributed across 12 investment categories, led by domestic money market transactions worth 75.6 billion riyals, accounting for 34.7% of total assets, followed by domestic equities at 46.6 billion riyals, representing 21.4%, then real estate investment funds, while other domestic investments ranked fourth at 19.6 billion riyals, accounting for approximately 9% of total
