Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of the Makkah Region, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the region, launched 17 development projects in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/72707\/\">Industrial Cities<\/a><\/strong> In Jeddah and the Second Industrial City in Makkah, with a value exceeding 2.5 billion riyals, His Highness witnessed the signing of the first industrial contract for precious metals and gemstones between \u201cMadin\u201d and the company \u201cMahd Al-Dahab,\u201d with the factory to be located in the First Industrial City in Jeddah on an area of 18,000 square meters, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khuraif, and a number of Their Highnesses the Princes and other dignitaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Development of Infrastructure Networks<br><\/strong>The projects included the development of infrastructure networks covering an area of more than 11 million square meters, the construction of 160 new turnkey factories, the installation of water transmission lines and the expansion of a water treatment plant, as well as a quality control laboratory in the food complex, as well as electricity and utility projects, thereby enhancing the sustainability of services and supporting rapid growth in the industrial and logistics sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Empowering Domestic Industries<br><\/strong>These projects are part of efforts to <strong>Saudi Organization for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON)\u201c<\/strong> Ongoing efforts to create an integrated industrial environment, empower national industries, and strengthen the role of the industrial sector as a key driver of the national economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These projects cover a wide range of sectors, including infrastructure, manufactured goods, water and electricity projects, services, and utilities, thereby contributing to enhancing the readiness and competitiveness of industrial cities, supporting industrial expansion and high-quality investments, and achieving the objectives of the National Industrial Strategy and Saudi Vision
