The Ministry of Housing has confirmed that it is in the process of activating its partnership with the private sector to build thousands of housing units in various forms, including villas and apartments, while ensuring they are completed in record time with high quality and at reasonable prices. Sources report that the Ministry is pursuing vertical expansion in major cities to meet the growing number of people seeking housing and housing assistance, The Ministry of Housing will resort to vertical expansion as a solution to the land shortage it faces within the urban areas of major cities.

Therefore, this type of construction is expected to be implemented in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, alongside other available options such as developed land with integrated infrastructure offered to citizens along with mortgage loans for construction, as well as the distribution of prefabricated housing units that the Ministry has previously constructed, some of which have already been distributed in Jazan, Buraydah, and Khaybar.

Sources indicated that the Ministry is engaging local and international companies to provide thousands of apartments with areas of at least 400 square meters for distribution to citizens eligible for housing support.
