A committee in the Shura Council called on the Ministry of Transport to establish an effective transportation system linking housing projects with all modes of transportation with nearby urban areas, in order to keep pace with the Ministry of Housing's orientation towards solving the housing crisis and establishing residential cities on the outskirts of regions and governorates, and urged the recommendations of the specialized committee to study the performance of the Ministry of Transport. In its report, which is presented for discussion under the Shura Dome next Tuesday, the committee stressed the importance of following up on the completion of the initiatives of all ministries, bodies and institutions included in the program.

The recommendations of the specialized committee to study the performance of the Ministry of Transport urged it to include in its next annual reports what it has achieved from the National Transformation Program.
