Ghazwani said. “The aim of these exceptions related to multiple floors, setbacks, areas, as well as public services, is to meet the needs of beneficiaries without violating security and safety requirements, in order to provide high-quality housing at reasonable prices and within the reach of citizens,” Al-Ghazwani said, adding that “a working group was formed between the Ministry of Housing and the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs to enforce the requirements of the Supreme Decree issued regarding exceptions for housing-related projects from building requirements in cities.”
Ghazwani said. He stressed that obtaining exceptions for the Ministry of Housing requires the preparation of an integrated traffic study to determine the future traffic requirements within the project land and neighboring areas, and fulfill the necessary approvals from the relevant authorities regarding security and safety requirements and maintaining the privacy of neighbors, as well as submitting a hydrological study and flood drainage alternatives for the project site and a soil investigation study for the site.
