The Ministry of Housing, in partnership with Saudi Telecom Company, plans to expand the use of communications technology in the implementation of smart buildings, and has urged developers to adopt environmentally friendly projects and introduce fast, effective, and high-quality communication and coordination tools for major beneficiaries, as well as ensuring the company’s rapid response to immediately repair malfunctions for housing beneficiaries, through a cooperation agreement signed between the two parties.

The collaboration will utilize the latest technologies, and the Ministry will empowerstc to carry out housing infrastructure projects, provide it with information on projects, real estate developers, and end customers who will request services, and enhance coordination within the Ministry with relevant entities such as the “Wafi,” the Developer Services Center, and the Owners" Union.

The agreement will enable citizens to benefit from high-speed broadband and fiber-optic services, as well as wired internet and Wi-Fi in residential complexes, and provide technologies and technical solutions related to smart homes.

And stc in supporting the Ministry’s awareness and media campaigns and sponsoring certain activities and events in accordance with regulations and policies, as well as providing all necessary infrastructure services to improve and upgrade the level of services provided and implement the required updates.
