The ministry confirmed in a press release, that there are 2680 housing units of villa type with an area of 500 square meters per villa launched for booking, inspection and direct delivery in 5 regions, explaining that the available housing units are distributed in Ramah with 48 villas, Dawadmi 303 villas, Shaqra 186 villas, Zulfi 176 villas, and Thadeq 78 villas, while the Northern Borders region Three cities include Arar 192 villas, Tarif 223 villas, and Rafhaa 254 villas, and in the Makkah region, two projects, the first in Al-Qunfudhah with 154 villas and the second in Al-Kharmah, which includes 197 villas, and the Qassim region includes 111 villas in Unaiza, 44 in Buraydah, 82 in Nabhaniyah, in addition to 635 villas in the Eastern Province's Hafar Al-Batin governorate.
The ministry stressed that the procedures for handing over the beneficiaries are carried out according to the plan followed by the “Residential” program after completing the final procedures with the Ministry of Housing, banks and financing institutions, indicating that these projects are characterized by the integration of infrastructure, services and public facilities, in addition to allocating sites for government educational and health facilities.
She pointed out that the availability of reservations in these projects aims to facilitate the ownership of citizens benefiting from housing support to own the first home, and to provide more options for beneficiaries to meet their desires and provide suitable housing options for them, noting that all these projects are characterized by providing a suitable housing environment that meets the aspirations of beneficiaries and provides all services for them.
It is noteworthy that the total number of housing units in the ministry's ready-made projects that have been offered for the reservation and inspection phase amounts to about 6680 housing units ready for delivery, more than 70% of these units have been booked during the past period under the “Residential” program, and about 50% of them have been delivered, with the ministry continuing to deliver housing units after completing their reservations and signing final contracts with beneficiaries.
