Mohammed Al-Batti, General Supervisor of Ejar Regulation at the Ministry of Housing, renewed the ministry's assurances to register violations on real estate offices that do not comply with the “Ejar” system starting next December. Al-Batti added that the Ejar network currently covers only the residential rental side, indicating that the number of registered real estate establishments exceeded thousands, between accredited brokers and brokers in the process of completing training through the network.

Batti Al-Batti explained that registration in the system has become mandatory under Cabinet Decision No. (405), which requires licensed real estate brokers to register rental contracts and residential units through the electronic network. The General Supervisor of Ejar sector regulation pointed out that work is currently underway to motivate real estate establishments by providing a number of services and features in the network, most notably preserving the rights of the lessor and the lessee and the unified residential rental contract that is an executive document to be documented through the network.

Batti stressed the launch of the Ejar network to cover only the residential rental side. Al-Batti confirmed that the launch of the contract registration phase through the network will be launched soon, noting that the training phase integrated within the steps of registration in the network is sufficient at the current stage, and real estate brokers interacted with it well.
