<The General Real Estate Authority (GRA) has released the draft amendment of the executive regulations of the Real Estate Registration to the public through the "Explore" platform, in order to enable the public, government agencies and the private sector to express their views and observations on it before its approval. The Authority explained that the draft “Amending the Executive Regulations of the Real Estate Registration System" includes adding and amending a number of articles and paragraphs, updating some definitions, regulating the periods of absolute authenticity for the first in-kind registration, developing mechanisms for publishing lists of real estate registered in kind, organizing objection procedures and notification of lawsuits, and determining the competencies of the real estate registrar in documenting subsequent dispositions.<The Authority indicated that the draft "Amendment of the Executive Regulations of the Real Estate Registration System” comes with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of real estate registration procedures, raising the accuracy of the real estate register, and clarifying a number of organizational and procedural provisions, as part of its ongoing efforts to develop the real estate legislative system, enhance transparency, and preserve rights, in support of the growth of the real estate market. The Authority invited interested parties from the public, government agencies and the private sector to review the amendments to the regulation in a survey platform through the following link: https://istitlaa.ncc.gov.sa/ar/Municipality/rega/Real and provide comments and suggestions on them.

The Authority stressed its keenness to ensure that the draft amendment to the executive regulations of the Real Estate Registration System contributes to achieving the effectiveness of the real estate sector, optimizing procedures, and enhancing the flexibility of application, in line with the development of the real estate market, and contributes to enhancing the confidence of customers and investors in the Saudi real estate sector.
