The Ministry of Housing has launched a series of accelerated and serious measures to build 180,000 housing units within a maximum of three years and a minimum of two years. These housing units will be built by local and foreign developers and companies.

Several informed sources indicated that the prices to be set by the Ministry for beneficiary segments, the price for individuals with monthly salaries ranging from 5,000 to 12,000 riyals will be between 500,000 and 800,000 riyals per housing unit.

It is worth noting that the Minister of Housing had previously confirmed that the Ministry had signed a number of partnerships with a group of qualified real estate development companies inside and outside the Kingdom to build 180,000 housing units in all regions within a short period of time and at affordable prices, The Ministry of Housing’s signing of alliance agreements with a group of Korean companies to build 100,000 housing units (apartments and villas) reinforces the Ministry’s approach in this regard and strengthens its efforts to resolve the housing crisis in the Kingdom.
