The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing announced that 8,761 Saudi families benefited from the services of <a href="https://amlak.net.As part of the efforts of the "Sakani“ program to enable Saudi families to own suitable housing and raise ownership rates to 70% to achieve the targets of the housing program - one of the programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 - while the number of families who lived in their first home during the same month reached 6.154 families, in a continuation of efforts to accelerate ownership procedures and enable eligible families to benefit from various housing solutions.
The Ministry explained that the total beneficiaries of the services of <a href=”https://amlak.Since the beginning of this year until the end of February 2026, 17,188 Saudi families, while the number of families who lived in their homes during the same period reached 14,160 families, with an average daily implementation of 507 contracts for housing products, which reflects the continued pace of housing empowerment and acceleration of ownership procedures for Saudi families.<The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing indicated that the Riyadh region accounted for the highest percentage of total housing contracts during February with 19%, followed by the Makkah region with 18%, then the Eastern Province with 13%, while the rest of the percentages were distributed to the rest of the Kingdom, indicating the wide range of benefit and growing housing demand in various regions. The ministry pointed out that the total subsidized contracts for beneficiaries since the launch of the "Residential" program in 2017 until the end of February 2026 amounted to 1,023,653 contracts for Saudi families in various regions of the Kingdom, an indicator that reflects the cumulative impact of the program in enhancing ownership opportunities and raising the rates of home ownership among Saudi families.
She stressed that the “Residential” program continues to provide an integrated package of housing products that include ready-made units, units under construction within the sale-on-plan projects, in addition to the self-construction product and residential lands, providing various options that suit the needs and desires of Saudi families in various regions of the Kingdom.The Ministry pointed out that the housing system in the Kingdom is witnessing a shift from focusing on providing “housing” as a housing unit to developing integrated urban communities where services, facilities and economic opportunities are available, thus enhancing the quality of life and raising the attractiveness of the residential sector in terms of investment and urbanization. This comes through developing housing projects according to modern urban models that contribute to revitalizing the economic movement in cities and increasing the efficiency of land use, as well as strengthening partnerships with real estate developers and financing entities to support the growth and sustainability of the sector.
