«Zatca calls on businesses to submit VAT returns for February

KDIPA sets March 31, 2026 deadline for filing February returns for large establishments and warns of late penalties

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (Zatca) has invited business sector establishments subject to VAT whose annual supplies of goods and services exceed 40 million riyals to submit their tax returns for last February, no later than March 31, 2026.

ZATCA urged enterprises to submit their tax returns via the website (zatca.gov.sa), or submit them and pay via the Authority's application for smart phones, (ZATCA) in order to avoid the penalty for late submission of the return within the specified period, by 5% as a minimum and 25% as a maximum of the tax value that the taxpayer had to declare, by a minimum of 5% and a maximum of 25%.

Zatca invited business taxpayers wishing to obtain more information on VAT to contact it through the unified call center number (19993), which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, or the "Ask Zakat, Tax and Customs" account on the platform (@Zatca_Care) X or through email ([email protected]), or instant messaging on the Authority's website (zatca.gov.sa).
