Calls for quick registration
The Authority called on the owners of properties located within the scope of the neighborhoods to quickly register their properties through the real estate registry platform rer.sa before the end of the registration period to benefit from the services of implementing real estate transactions and documenting all changes that occur to the property.<The real estate registry will issue a “property number” and a title deed for each real estate unit that is registered, and the new title deed includes the exact geographical location of the property, its owner's data, descriptions, condition, rights and obligations, and all real estate transactions that occur on it; to be the basis for documenting ownership and the real estate rights resulting from it, thus contributing to the sustainability and enhancement of the real estate sector and its main enablers.<The Authority emphasized that failure to register properties within the period specified in the announcement decision exposes their owners to the financial penalties contained in the Real Estate Registration System, which is determined by a specialized committee to consider violations, and that requests for real estate registration continue in all declared areas even after the end of the registration period specified in the announcement decision.
The National Company for Real Estate Registration Services (Real Estate Registry) is responsible for implementing the establishment and management of the real estate registry in the Kingdom using modern technologies and geospatial data through an integrated digital platform that contributes to enhancing transparency and confidence in real estate services and data.
