The Saudi Commission for Accredited Valuers has launched a model for measuring the quality of valuation reports in the real estate valuation branch, in a move aimed at raising the quality of professional practice and enhancing the reliability of reports submitted in the real estate market.
The launch of the model comes as part of Taqeem's efforts to develop professional evaluation tools to enable certified evaluators to conduct a professional self-review of evaluation reports before their final approval, which contributes to measuring the completeness of the report, the clarity of the foundations on which it was built, and the extent of its adherence to the approved professional standards.<The model is designed to be an easy-to-use guiding tool that helps assessors to objectively evaluate their work, discover observations, and work to address them before submitting the report or handing it over to the client, thus contributing to raising the quality of reports and enhancing the confidence of beneficiaries, while at the same time promoting the culture of self-review and professional control.<The use of this model represents a practical step towards establishing a culture of quality and professional excellence in the real estate valuation sector, noting the importance of referring to the use guide attached to the model and following the instructions contained therein to ensure correct application and achieve maximum benefit.
