The the Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers “Taqeem” a model for measuring the quality of valuation reports in the Real Estate Valuation, in a move aimed at raising the quality of professional practice and enhancing the reliability of reports submitted in the real estate market.
The launch of the model is part of Tawassum’s efforts to develop professional appraisal tools with the aim of enabling certified appraisers to conduct a professional self-review of appraisal reports prior to their final approval, contributing to measuring the report’s completeness, the clarity of its underlying basis, and its compliance with approved professional standards.
Taqeem explained that the template was designed to be an easy-to-use guidance tool that helps appraisers objectively evaluate their work, identify observations, and address them independently before submitting the report or delivering it to the client; thereby contributing to improving the quality of reports and enhancing beneficiaries“ confidence in them, while simultaneously fostering a culture of self-review and professional oversight.
”Taqeem” emphasized that the use of this form represents a practical step toward establishing a culture of quality and professional excellence in the real estate appraisal sector, noting the importance of referring to the user guide attached to the form and following the instructions contained therein to ensure correct application and maximize its benefits.
