Kayan Group, a leading real estate developer in the Middle East, has completed all licensing procedures for the launch of the Samaya residential project in the upscale Arqa district in northwestern Riyadh. The project, with a cost of one billion riyals, is considered an ideal residential destination offering integrated services in one of the most attractive locations in Wadi Hanifa, covering an area of one million square meters.
Mr. Ahmed Al-Hati, Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors, revealed that construction on the project will begin soon, noting that all infrastructure services—including water and electricity lines and various essential utilities—will be ready as part of the plan. The Samaya project includes residential and commercial units, as well as schools, kindergartens, mosques, sports clubs, parks, green spaces, water fountains, farms, pedestrian walkways, and dedicated running and cycling paths, and other recreational facilities.
Al-Hatti added: ”The Samaya project addresses the market’s need for luxury residential complexes that provide a range of integrated services meeting the aspirations of Riyadh’s residents. These mega-projects contribute to supporting the Saudi economy and stimulating investment in the real estate sector across the Kingdom.“
Kayan Group seeks to develop real estate projects to international standards that enhance residents” quality of life and serve as a model of environmental sustainability. Through its investments, the group also works to align with the Kingdom’s vision of economic diversification.
The Arqa region, which is home to the project, is considered a high-end recreational area, characterized by its picturesque mountains and open spaces interspersed with magnificent parks. The Samaya project will be developed in Wadi Hanifa, which is considered one of the longest open recreational areas in Arqa, stretching 80 kilometers in length.
The Samaya project won the 2013 Best Mixed-Use Project award from International Property Awards Arabia, and its design is being handled by United Consultants Group.
Samaya joins a group of major projects recently announced by Kayan Group as part of a strategy to elevate Kayan to the ranks of global companies.
