The real estate market in the Kingdom of Bahrain has remained stable since the beginning of this year. Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of the Real Estate Registration Authority and Honorary President of the Bahrain Real Estate Association, confirmed that real estate transactions were not affected during the first quarter of this year, explaining that the volume of real estate transactions is on par with the same period last year, with the total volume of real estate transactions in the first quarter of 2015 reaching approximately 359.632 million dinars.
The weekly panel discussion held at the Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Ali Council featured an in-depth discussion on the Bahraini real estate market in particular and the Bahraini economic situation in general.
Sheikh Abdulrahman added that Bahrain is currently witnessing many real estate development projects, thanks to the regulations and laws governing the sector, which confirm that the real estate market in Bahrain remains healthy, while noting that price fluctuations in the real estate market may occur from time to time in the best interest of citizens and are considered a positive development, given that daily trading volumes range from 3.5 to 4 million Bahraini dinars.
