«Municipalities and Housing» continues to monitor the readiness of infrastructure projects in the holy sites

Municipality of the Holy Capital conducts thousands of inspections on excavation permits and road projects to improve infrastructure efficiency during Hajj

Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, represented by the Municipality of the Holy Capital, continues its field efforts to follow up infrastructure projects of the service agencies in the Holy Sites during the Hajj season 1447 H through a coordination and control system that aims to raise the quality of implementation, control excavation work and maintain the readiness of roads and facilities that serve the pilgrims.<The efforts included following up on nearly 1,986 permits issued for infrastructure projects, and carrying out more than 1,260 visits on excavation permits issued, with a total length of more than 114,000 meters, in a field path that links the work of service agencies with the needs of movement, service and safety within Holy Sites.<The Holy Capital Municipality carried out more than 1,150 field survey visits on streets, in addition to more than 1,010 quality assurance and quality control visits on infrastructure projects, achieving a compliance rate of nearly 97%, reflecting an advanced level of follow-up, accuracy in coordination, and keenness to minimize the impact of field work on movement and services.

The Municipality of the Holy Capital, through the General Department for Project Coordination, works to harmonize the work of service agencies in the holy sites, raise the efficiency of implementation, and follow up on compliance with permits and technical requirements, ensuring continued municipal readiness in vital locations, and making each completed project more relevant to the comfort and safety of pilgrims.These efforts are part of the municipalities and housing system's preparations for the Hajj season 1447 AH, and its field and coordination efforts to ensure a safe and orderly urban environment that meets the honor of serving the pilgrims and supports the quality of services provided to them on their journey of faith.
