Cabinet decides to grant ”2500 square meters" to each charity

In its meeting held on Monday, the Council of Ministers amended one of the paragraphs in the regulation on granting subsidies to charitable associations to read as follows: “Each charitable association shall be granted a piece of land with an area of no more than 2,500 square meters: ”Each charitable association shall be granted a piece of land with an area not exceeding 2,500 square meters, based on a proposal by the Ministry and the approval of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs." The Council also approved the final accounts of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund and the SME Finance Guarantee Program, and the final account of the Saudi Standards and Metrology Organization (SASO).
This came during the Cabinet session chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, on Monday afternoon at Al Salam Palace in Jeddah. Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Muhyiddin Khoja said that the Cabinet highly appreciated with pride the generous directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to survey all damages caused by the rains in the Kingdom's regions and provinces to compensate those affected, and his directive to pay a month's salary to all civil defense men who performed their duty towards their religion and country with dedication and sincerity, stressing that this reflects the King's keenness and concern for his fellow citizens and their needs, compensating them for the losses they suffered, and honoring those who performed their duty to preserve the safety and achievements of the country's people.
