The guide aims to standardize lighting design across the city, enhancing visual identity, improving the nightscape, and raising the quality of the visual experience for residents and visitors, in addition to rationalizing energy consumption, reducing light pollution, and providing a safer and more comfortable urban environment.
The guide targets real estate developers, engineering and consulting offices, contractors and implementation companies, in addition to property owners and commercial establishments, as a guiding reference that clarifies the design principles and technical standards for lighting, ensuring its integration with the urban character of Madinah, and highlighting its architectural elements in a harmonious manner.
