After a stalemate that lasted more than 40 years, the Real Estate Contributions Committee at the Ministry of Commerce and Investment resolved the impasse surrounding the sale of land in Ain Al-Saih in the Eastern Province, which has a total area of 965,661 square meters, was finally concluded, with the land sold for a total amount exceeding 100 million riyals.
Meanwhile, last Tuesday, the committee suspended the public auction for the sale of the remaining plots in the Shalala area of Riyadh because the properties did not reach a fair price. Attendance by prospective buyers was low, and bids remained within a narrow range, forcing the committee to cancel the auction. It announced that a later date would be set for the sale of the entire development in line with market conditions.
