The Big 5 Construct Saudi exhibition will take place from August 30 to September 2, featuring more than 1,000 local and international exhibitors, to highlight the accelerating pace of construction and building activities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the accompanying increasing pressures on project teams to make informed procurement decisions, comply with changing regulatory requirements, and complete projects more efficiently. The exhibition aims to address these priorities by providing a comprehensive platform for contractors, consultants, engineers, and procurement specialists, allowing them to compare different solutions, engage directly with suppliers, and identify products that meet the requirements of current and upcoming projects across the Kingdom.
During the event, a select group of Saudi companies and manufacturers will showcase products and services that support the growth of the Kingdom’s construction sector. Masdar will present a wide range of building materials, electrical products, tools, and equipment, while Al-Yamamah Steel Industries will highlight structural steel solutions that support infrastructure projects and large-scale buildings. The Hussein and Hassan Ghazi Shaker Brothers Company will also showcase heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration technologies. For its part, Midglove offers a comprehensive suite of insurance and reinsurance solutions, including engineering, property, liability, marine insurance, and more. Mawad Al-I'mar Holding Company highlights its integrated solutions in the fields of building and construction.
50 Participating Countries
The exhibition features broad international participation from more than 50 countries, which helps enhance the range and diversity of the solutions on display. Lanmix from Australia is showcasing its high-performance solutions for reinforcing concrete with steel fibers, while K-Flex Insulation from Egypt is presenting thermal and acoustic insulation solutions as well as fire-retardant products. Meanwhile, Coldrock Europe, Masa, and MPK Maschinenbau from Germany are showcasing their expertise in concrete cooling technologies, production machinery, and reinforcement systems. The Italian manufacturing sector is well represented by Confindustria Veneto and Oscam, which offer specialized construction products and outdoor space solutions. From the United Arab Emirates, Al-Mukarram Industries is showcasing construction chemical solutions, while the International Code Council and the International Society for Air Movement and Control are presenting their global expertise in the fields of building codes, safety standards, and the performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
The exhibition is also welcoming a number of companies for the first time, such as Arkaz, a company specializing in construction and engineering; and Coastal Contracting, which offers its expertise in integrated contracting and project delivery. The Hamati Group is showcasing its construction technologies and engineering solutions, while Total Energies is presenting its integrated portfolio to support energy applications and the industrial sector, and Environment Icon is highlighting environmental solutions focused on sustainability. In addition, Saudi Al-Mekyal is presenting its products and services in the construction sector, while Modern Middle East Limited is offering waste management and environmental solutions that support the delivery of cleaner and more efficient projects. The participation of these companies reflects the growing interest in the exhibition among organizations seeking to establish new partnerships, engage directly with buyers, and strengthen their presence in the Saudi construction sector, which is experiencing significant expansion.

Exploring Industry Opportunities at Big 5 Talks
The Big 5 Talks sessions will be held on the sidelines of the exhibition, featuring more than 30 sessions accredited by the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program, with the participation of over 50 industry experts. These sessions aim to provide practical guidance on the technical, regulatory, and operational priorities shaping the construction sector in the Kingdom. The event program covers a range of topics, including the Saudi Building Code, health and safety, project management, artificial intelligence, sustainability, concrete, modular construction, and heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) systems, providing professionals with practical insights to support informed decision-making, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and improve project delivery efficiency.
Workshop Understanding the Saudi Building Code
Highlights of the program include a keynote address by His Excellency Engineer Saad Al-Sha’il, CEO of the Saudi Building Code Center, leading up to a workshop titled “”Understanding the Saudi Building Code: Key Requirements and Compliance Pathways.” The session will provide practical guidance on the Saudi Building Code, help participants understand compliance requirements, and support the delivery of safer, higher-quality projects across the Kingdom.
Project delivery and supply chain resilience will also be at the forefront of discussions during a panel session addressing leadership and governance in construction sector procurement. The session features practical insights from Darko Makura, CEO of Al-Khouli Group; Christopher Seymour, Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa at Mace Consult; and Shona Kenard, a member of the Chartered Institute of Building and Project Director at Masq City, along with several other speakers, to discuss mechanisms for cooperation among stakeholders, enhancing digital transparency, procurement-related challenges, and lessons learned from major projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Another session, titled “Quality Assurance in the Saudi Construction Sector: From Concrete Production to Construction”, ways to integrate international concrete standards with the Saudi Building Code to enhance construction quality throughout the project lifecycle. The session will be led by Engineer Ahmed K.F. Al-Ajla, a Senior Fellow, civil engineer, and American Concrete Institute (ACI)-certified Concrete Technical Quality Manager at Dar Al-Hindasa Engineering Consultants (Shaer & Associates). The session will address materials quality management, inspection and testing procedures, documentation practices, workforce competence, and the practical challenges associated with applying the requirements of the American Concrete Institute and the Saudi Building Code at construction sites throughout the Kingdom.
