The Council of Saudi Chambers issued a resolution appointing Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Qasim as chairman of the board of directors of the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration, succeeding Dr. Ziad bin Abdulrahman Al-Sudairi.

Al-Qasim is considered one of the nation’s leading professionals and distinguished administrative leaders in the fields of business, economics, and commercial arbitration. He has held leadership positions in numerous companies and serves on the boards of directors of several joint-stock companies, in addition to serving as an expert on arbitration panels at the Gulf Commercial Arbitration Center and as a member of several councils and committees at the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants, and a number of joint-stock companies.

Fahad Al-Qasim expressed his sense of the responsibility placed upon him, asking God to help him fulfill this trust as expected, emphasizing the importance of the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration in facilitating arbitration proceedings in relevant disputes where the parties agree to settle their differences through arbitration at the Center.
