The Ministry of Justice announced the launch of the notary service project and the licensing of the first batch of notaries, which allows documenting contracts and agencies with notaries accredited by the Ministry of Justice.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice for Notarial Affairs, Osama Al-Zaid, explained in a recent statement that the ministry granted the notarial license to 356 applicants. He added that this batch is the first for the 2950 applicants who applied for a notarial license through the Ministry of Justice's electronic portal.
Zaid said that the ministry is currently working on enrolling 700 applicants for training and providing them with the necessary expertise in this field: Conducting real estate sales transactions, notarizing company contracts, and issuing powers of attorney during working hours and non-working hours.
He explained that the Ministry aims to facilitate notarization procedures for citizens and residents, as everyone will be able to notarize outside the official working hours of the notary offices, to preserve the time of the auditors and complete their work anywhere by visiting the nearest notary.
