The Ministry of Justice index revealed that last Rajab was the lowest in the volume of transactions in value, area and number of transactions executed compared to the rest of the months of this year, except for the month of Jumada al-Thani, which the figures showed that Rajab was better than it in the total value of transactions, reaching 22.4 billion riyals compared to 21 billion riyals for the month of Jumada al-Thani 1436 AH.

The results showed a significant decrease in the overall average due to several considerations, including the relative calm that prevails in the real estate market while waiting for the decision to impose fees on white lands, the regulation of which will be announced in the next few days, as well as the reluctance of many people to buy and sell inside and outside the urban area.
184.5 billion riyals in seven months
A quick look at the figures shows that the trading volume in all regions of the Kingdom for seven months this year amounted to 184.5 billion riyals compared to 243.7 billion riyals for the same period last year.
The number of transactions executed this year amounted to 145,952 real estate transactions distributed between the residential and commercial sectors, of which about 117,000 deals are residential and commercial plots of land. This compares to a total of 183,538 deals executed in the same period of last year 1436 AH. Residential sector accounts for 109.6 billion Residential share of the total value of transactions amounted to 109.6 billion riyals in all regions of the Kingdom compared to 164.3 billion riyals for the same period last year. In terms of areas, the total areas implemented reached 1,701 billion square meters in all regions of the Kingdom for the residential and commercial sectors, of which 346 billion square meters are residential plots, while the area of commercial plots reached 134 billion square meters, and the vast majority were for agricultural lands where the total areas exceeded 1,347 billion square meters.
