The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has revealed that it plans to get rid of traditional paper-based procedures by launching a new electronic system to conduct comprehensive property surveys as soon as they are completed, to be documented in a modern electronic format to facilitate quick and easy reference to the data, in order to strengthen the partnership with surveying companies licensed by the Department.

A specialized team from DLD will train the specialized cadres working in DLD-approved surveying companies to carry out all the functions covered by the new system.

The developer appoints one of the specialized surveying companies accredited by DLD, and the company itself will upload the data and pay the due fees according to the nature and size of the property through the portal in a smart way, and the new system does not require the presence of the concerned parties to DLD.
