The Minister of Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, extended his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Deputy Crown Prince - may God protect them - for the Cabinet's approval, on Monday, of the executive regulations of the white land fees system, noting that this step will contribute to reducing monopolization and hoarding, in addition to balancing supply and demand in the real estate market, leading to providing housing units and developed lands at suitable prices for all segments of society, stressing that it is one of the initiatives the ministry works on to achieve the strategic goal His Excellency said: “This generous approval confirms the keenness of the wise leadership to seek the needs of citizens, provide means of well-being and a decent life for the people of this country and facilitate their acquisition of suitable housing,” he said, noting the role of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs in issuing this decision, which coincided with the announcement of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its Vision 2030, as well as the start of the National Transformation Program 2020, which is the first executive program in the Saudi Vision and received the support and approval of the Cabinet last week, to bring the executive regulations in line with the great care and attention of the wise leadership to make a qualitative leap in performance and dynamism.
